Vertical Crusher is primarily used in the field of recycling for scrap metal, serving as secondary processing for metals pre-shredded by a dual-shaft shredder. It aims to clean materials adhering to the metal surface and separate metals of different materials, facilitating subsequent sorting by other equipment such as magnetic separators and eddy current separators.

The symmetrical hammerheads at the top of the housing crush the material, allowing it to enter the crushing space between the rotary cutter disk and the wear-resistant lining plate in the housing. After the material undergoes rolling and grinding by the rollers, the metal surface is effectively cleaned, and different materials are separated. Once the metal is crushed to a certain size (25-80mm), it enters the discharge bin through the gap between the bottom cutter disk and the housing, and is discharged by the scraping device. Through these three processing steps, the metal particles are suitable for transportation without the need for additional compaction treatment, thereby reducing transportation costs and minimizing equipment investment.
